Welcome to Rock Bottom, a brand-new addition to the Internet's already-prolific lineup of online radio shows. Actually, Rock Bottom isn't quite brand new. From September to December 1997, I ran a little-known web page that played mostly punk rock songs, imaginatively titled Punk Rock Radio. Unfortunately, in January of '98 my computer decided to fry itself, thus sending that venture into limbo. But one year later, here I am again. This page'll be updated (ideally) every month with a new show. I can't make any promises that my new computer won't blow up, too, but considering how much I had to shell out for it, there'll be hell to pay if it does. Are you listening to me, Compaq? Oh well, at least it's not another Packard Bell. Nonetheless, moving on...
As before, I'd like to use this page as a medium to expose people to music which they might otherwise not have heard. That means that I hope to include various lesser-known acts among the Dead Kennedys and Black Flags of the bunch. Want to hear your band on Rock Bottom? Get in contact with me here.
